<p><strong>Set a clear objective</strong><br />
Decide on what you want your advertisement to achieve. This will assist in the creative process and allow you to assess the success of your campaign.</p>

<p><strong>Relate to your customers</strong><br />
Decide on your market target and the best way to win them over. Make believe you are one of them to learn how they relate to things. Use this to judge their tastes. Will your advertisement appeal to them? Is the language used too business-like? Will it tickie their curiosity or fancy?</p>
<p><strong>Learn your target market&#8217;s habits</strong><br />
Advertising on the days that your target market gets paid, has more time to read the paper, etc. will make your advertisement more effective.</p>
<p><strong>Be consistent</strong><br />
Although an ad may become boring over time and need adjustments, identifying traits, such as signature templates, font style, or day of the week it is published should be maintained. This keeps your ad fresh, but still makes it identifiable with you or your company.</p>
<p><strong>Judge the results</strong><br />
Evaluate how the results measure againts your goals, whether the ad was placed to boost sales or company profile. Continue using the elements that work and change those that are less effective.</p>

If this sounds like you, you are in a group of thousands of other people. Their dream is running their own business, because the advantages of having a business are many. If you plan to be an entrepreneur and have a business, it is important to understand how to initiate a business.</p>
<p><span id="more-14"></span></p>
<p>The first thing that you need to do when setting up a business is to make a decision on what you want to concentrate. In the other word, what is your business running to do? This question can sometimes be hard to answer. The majority of people do not know how to get started. Actually, you can do something that you like. If you like your business, you will enjoy to hard working and be serious to make your business successful. Although your business based on your interest, people should need it. As a result, your business will be running well since people buy your product. It means you will make a lot of money from your business. </p>
<p>After you decided what your business to run, you begin preparing a realistic business plan. You must stick to your business plan written! The plan will give you the prospective of your business, the objectives to obtain and follow, and the direction you want to take. Your business plan will also make you determine your strengths and weaknesses. This is important for the next steps, do not try to do everything by yourself or do not hesitate to hire someone for tasks that you cannot do that well. For instance, you are not good with numbers. Therefore, you do not waste your time doing your own accounting, but you can find a good accountant to do that. This will also help you to focus on your business. Next, you suppose your business plan as your business road map. You must define exactly where you want to get to with your business and then you can effectively map out your path towards achieving your goals. By creating a detailed business plan, you should cover all options and eventualities and have a clear future vision that will guide you through the rest of the start-up processes.</p>
<p>The next step is action. As the saying goes, planning without action is futile, but action without planning is fatal. It takes guts to act boldly and take whatever risks are necessary to put your vision into practice. In early, you may start small. Instead of immediately trying to open a big business, you can focus on your small business. It will help you to concentrate to your customers. You can call them each personally and mail them your marketing materials. After that, you can be easier to create a business development system because it will support your business, such as a good bookkeeping system to keep track of expenses and revenue, and a customer/client tracking system with a database of customers/client names, addresses, and other useful information. </p>
<p>Finally, a successful business needs time to grow. No business starts making gigantic money in the first day. Consequently, you must be consistent. You must be in this for the long haul. For this reason, patience is very important to the success of your business. It may not be easy at first, but as time goes by you will become comfortable with what you are doing.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Unemployment is a big problem in many countries. From year to year the number of unemployment is getting difficult to control. It is not easy to decide what the main cause of unemployment is. Recently, the government and experts is not unanimously about unemployment causes and their solutions. However, we should give more attention to education as one of the many factors cause unemployment. There are several education problems that affect the unemployment increase, such as a high cost of education, a mismatch between the education system and job requirement, and the fact that the education system doesnt encourage students to be entrepreneurs.</p>
<p><span id="more-13"></span></p>
<p>Many people, especially poor people, become unemployed because they dont have an opportunity to get good education. Education becomes an expensive thing because it needs a high cost. Thus, only few people can access it. Actually, the government should make this condition better. They should allocate much more of their budget for education. In fact, the allocation of budget for education is still not much. The government is aware that education is important but their education budget seems to be not focusing on education. The education budget is not enough to develop good education that could be accessed by all people, especially the poor ones. The government has to be responsible for making good education accessible to all people and make sure that each citizen receives good education.</p>
<p>The next problem of education that causes unemployment is the mismatch between the education system and the job requirement. The industries have offered numerous job opportunities but they cant be filled because of the absence of people. The absence of people is not because there are no people that can fill them, but because they dont have the skills and competence required by the jobs. So, the industries will reject them because they dont want people that wont ready to work. For example, the garment industries need some tailors from dressmaking vocational high schools, but there are many high school graduates that dont have the skill in sewing apply it. Then, the job opportunity should be filled by the people that have appropriate education background to support the industries. Indeed, there are many graduates with inappropriate background who want to work in the industries or offices. For example, graduates majoring in agriculture want to work in a bank although they are needed to work in agriculture to support the agriculture improvement.</p>
<p>Besides, the education system, especially the education curriculum, doesnt support students to be entrepreneurs. Students in senior high schools should get lessons about entrepreneurship. Then, in the university, students obtain deeper training about entrepreneurship. But, there is no entrepreneurship curriculum, especially in senior high schools. Furthermore, there is more theory than practice. Students just memorize the lessons without practicing them, including entrepreneurship lesson. Actually, in senior high school or in the university, the entrepreneurship can be practiced in public. For example, students can create a small business, such as selling burger created by them, or creating a unique souvenir from recycled materials. Thus, after they graduate from university, they can be real entrepreneurs. They dont need to apply for a job, but they can create new businesses and give job opportunities to other people.</p>
<p>In brief, the quality of education, especially in the education curriculum must be improved. The education curriculum should consider what the industry needs. Besides, entrepreneurship lesson has to be more in practicing. More to the point, education generalization is also important, so that all people, including the poor ones, can get good education. If the government concern to resolve the education problem above, we can be optimistic that the number of unemployment will decrease gradually.</p>

<p>One of the most powerful tools we have as humans is our ability to ask questions.  The more adept we are at asking them (and waiting for and listening to the answers), the more effective we will be.  Here are seven great questions to use everyday.</p>

<li><strong>Why?</strong>  Asking &#8220;why?&#8221; is a powerful way to gain an understanding of the causes of problems we encounter.  Ask the question again and again to uncover the root causes of your problems.</li>
<li><strong>What did I learn?</strong>  This most basic reflective question is key to progress in any phase of your life.  Take the time to ask this question each day.</li>
<li><strong>How can I help you?</strong>  By focusing on attention on the needs of others you will be improving ourselves, as well as our relationships.</li>
<li><strong>What if?</strong>  This question helps you free your creativity to look for new solutions or just to see new possibilities for yourself.</li>
<li><strong>How can this be improved?</strong>  This question focuses you on improving your situation.  It helps you focus on the current situation and how to take your results to a new level.</li>
<li><strong>How can I show my gratitude?</strong>  A spirit of thankfulness is key to long-term happiness.  Thinking about how to show gratitude (and then doing it!) will also help strengthen your relationships.</li>
<li><strong>What is the best use of my time now?</strong>  Asking this classic question helps to refocus on what&#8217;s most important to us, whenever we ask it.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many businesses lose money yearly because they don&#8217;t think creatively about the future.  They run their businesses doing what they think they should: dealing with customers, dealing with problems, ordering for their business, and paying their expenses. They act like their business is a job. They are surviving and that&#8217;s it. They are not looking at the big picture. They need to use their business as a stepping stone to success. Picturing themselves as a successful business person, and setting up a plan to succeed.</p>
<p><span id="more-6"></span></p>
<p>Many of the businesses today are started by people who have been downsized or laid off. They are used to showing up for a job and getting paid, and this is how they are operating their business.</p>
<p><strong>The first</strong> thing you must do is <strong>to find out what you are really good at</strong>. Many people want to know, &#8220;How can I make more money?&#8221; Unfortunately too many business people never ask themselves, &#8220;What am I good at?&#8221; They need to do so, and then ask it again every time they want to do something new. This is one of the biggest reasons businesses fail. The owners did not focus on what they were good at and did best. This does not mean you can&#8217;t try something different. What it does mean that it is best to go with the skills and experience you already have.</p>
<p><strong>The second</strong> thing you need to do is <strong>take an objective look at yourself</strong>. Take a piece of paper and write down what you can and can&#8217;t do. Picture yourself hiring you. Would you hire yourself?  Would you be impressed? What do you know best? What are your hobbies? Can you turn that hobby into a business? Remember you work best at something you enjoy.</p>
<p>I was an exceptional secretary, so I started a word processing business. I loved typing and taking dictation by telephone, writing up letters, proposals and setting up identity packages. However, I hated having to drive around town to pick up and deliver projects, and cold calling for business. So after losing money, I shut down the business. A couple of years later I started another business where I was the assistant to businesses, but worked from my home. I got to do all the secretarial aspects, but out of a home office. All I had to do was send flyers and mailers to independent contractors. I also worked with answering services for referrals and gave them business, plus a cut of my fee.</p>
<p>What this means is you need to discover what your likes and dislikes are. People like to work at things they do well. They enjoy themselves more. A test for you is to think back over the last couple of days. Then make a list of the things you enjoyed doing. Think about when you were the happiest and what you were doing.</p>
<p><strong>The third</strong> thing you need <strong>to think about and be able to recognize is: &#8220;What your competitive edge is&#8221;</strong>.  After you do the above test and find out what your strengths are, you will find that some of these strengths give you an advantage over your competition. Do your particular strengths and abilities help you provide exceptional customer service? Can you do something or produce something that others can&#8217;t?</p>
<p>If you already have an edge over others,  put it to use. Make your customers aware of your unique qualities. The way to accomplish this is to be sure any advertising or promotional campaign you employ highlights your unique selling points.</p>
<p><strong>The fourth</strong> thing you need <strong>to do is to plan ahead</strong>. While your business concept or product might be unique now, as we know people love to copy what is successful. So you need to plan for the long run. You need to be aware of what your competition is doing and keep your customers coming back.</p>
<p><strong>The fifth</strong> thing is t<strong>hat just because there are things you don&#8217;t like about your business, doesn&#8217;t mean you give up</strong>. Yes, there are going to be certain things you like better than others. Every business person feels this way. However, if you don&#8217;t like anything about what you are doing, then you might want to start a new business. Be sure before you do so, you give yourself the above test.</p>
<p><strong>The sixth</strong> thing is sometimes you just need <strong>to make some changes in your business</strong>. See if there are certain things you can cut out of your business, a product or service, which you might not enjoy and it is not a profit center for you. Then drop it, and concentrate on those things that are generating a profit.</p>
<p>Maybe you need to make changes to make your job easier, such as buying new software, or a new computer system. Maybe hiring someone on a part time basis could take some of the workload off your shoulders, and allow you to concentrate on other business matters.</p>
<p>And <strong>last but not least</strong> is t<strong>o be sure you take what you&#8217;ve learned about yourself, and set up a plan for your business for the future</strong>. Don&#8217;t forget to write down what you&#8217;re good at and ways that you can apply your skills to making money. You can take this information about your skills and put it in your promotional materials. Be sure you always have a notebook (or a voice recorder) with you to joint down notes to yourself, new business ideas to try. You want to be sure when you do write these things down that you also put a date next to them to implement that idea or strategy. This will give you goals to work for. Be sure to put these goals in a prominent place in your office. I put my goals on index cards and then put the index cards on my desk, on my calendar, and on my bulletin board. By having your goals visible to you, it will help you to stay on track. And, that is what it is all about &#8211; keeping your business growing and prospering.</p>
